I've always wanted to make a remote control mower.
I'm thinking four individual wheels with integrated motors, and make it skid steer like a bobcat so I don't have to fuck around with steering. I'd have to power radio electronics and the motors, ideally I'd use an alternator/generator/whatever running off the engine somehow.
