Some of you may remember my new Deck thread.

I've decided it's time to retire my trusty Weber Genesis because it's simply too small for when I do even a moderately sized party.

So it comes down to these two grills, or something similar.

Viking: http://www.vikingrange.com/consumer/products/product.jsp?id=prod170053

Or maybe another Weber:

I find side-burners useless, thats why neither of these have them. These both look about the size I'm looking for. Basically two regular grills wide.

What do you guys think? Anyone have the Weber Summit by chance? My parents have the 53" Viking and it grills like a dream. Anyone have a source for small children to throw on the spit?

you kinda have to go on looks unless you do a grill off between the two models...as long as the btus are comparable there isn't much to go on otherwise

See I like the second one because it looks like there is extra drawers under the wings. More storage the better.

I could be wrong but I don't think there are drawers on the wings...that's where the side burners would be if so equipped...what looks like handles are the tool holders and if it was a drawer handle too, the tools would be prone to clanking around and falling off...my guess anyway

Ah... ha! That makes more sense.
