curly hair can be more forgiving for DIY cuts because as long as it's not WILDLY uneven, it isn't as noticeable, buuuuut thats the case for perhaps longer end results than you'd want, idk.

I cut my own hair a few months ago, and it's stick straight & fine as hell so the unevenness was p obvious, but is less noticeable after like 2.5 more months of growth
