Cancer research shouldn't be privately funded. All research for cures and vaccines should be done through national research institutes.

National research institutes, like the NIH, fund private research through partnerships. They need private funds to complete their mission.

I'm thinking that organized charity creates a barrier of separation between the giving and the needy. We should force people to engage those of different walks of life. Make charity happen from one person to another without the need for middlemen.
