you can go drinking all over the city/state on sunday if you want. you just can't buy it from a store and take it home. it doesn't get much more retarded than that.

like the title says, tomorrow the state senate votes on whether to scrap this antiquated BS bible thumper law. man do I hope this passes!
take the poll! (that's what she said)

SHE said take the poll? Um dude, didn't you check the adam's apple out first?

Yes it does. In Ohio, you can't by hard liquor (above 24%) at all on Sunday, but couldn't by beer or wine before 1pm. The reason this was changed to 10am was because churches that ran out of communion wine on Sundays has no way to replenish their stock before the service began, so miraculously the law was relaxed :fly:

"The bill, SB 10, would allow voters in each city or county to decide if they want to allow Sunday sales of beer, wine and liquor at grocery stores and package stores in their own communities, by local referendum."

it should pass downtown head spinningly fast as well. millions of tourist dollars to be had with all the conventioners

The increased revenue for everyone should make the issue a no brainier but damn the churches. Don't they realize that their attendance and offerings would increase if people could get drunk before church?
