Installing my new granite counter tops.

It would be nice if I could understand what they were saying, because half the time it sounds like they fucked something up.

And the fumes from the sealer are getting me high.

I'm still going back and forth between that and slate

I think granite may end up being slightly cheaper though

Slate feels like silk

if the granite is finished right it should feel like silk too!

So can Granite if it's not shit.

Can you put hot pots and pans right on slate? Also, doesn't slate show scrathes and such?
Slate is a matte finish

You can put hot pots/pans on slate, it doesn't need to be sealed, and the green does not show scratches but on the grey they can be quickly polished out.

The house is in the slate capital of the world, and it's not a common countertop so it looks pretty good.

We have some nice laminate countertops. Very fancy up in our neck of the woods
