fuck, i remember that man. the former. I didnt realize you almost quadrapeligized yourself.Yeah don't drive tired. Did that once, wrote off my car, broke 3 out of 4 limbs. Wouldn't recommend.
I was also killing myself working 70-80 hour weeks at the time. Don't do that either.
Was gonna mention @gee 's fiberglass solution. It works. It's sturdy. It's not flexible but that only matters if you keep running into stuff. After talking to my body guy, I'm going to start with 3M 05888 patches for the back side of the bumper, then go with 05895 flexible plastic filler, followed by primer, base, pearl, and clear.
It's going to take a minute, so I'm pulling my spare bumper beam out of the attic, and putting that on the car, as soon as I get my eBay headlight in the mail.
It's hot out, so I should probably take it off sooner rather than later, as the gobbets of flesh won't age well.
The Miata didn't get it till 2020 from the factory. There is a retrofit kit, which I'm looking at picking up.Wait a minute, your Miata is a 2018? Why does it not work with normal stuff, or could be made to with simply downloading an update?
That makes no sense.
My folks Explorer is I think a 2017 and they had like an hour long instruction class (older folks) on how to pair it with their phones and make all the gizmos work, including voice-activation, and updating the whole thing for new phones. My 77 year old Mom is a whiz at it and the thing was designed to be updated for future technology, like newer phones, etc.
To do what, exactly?Fuck me. I've got to remove a quarter of the dash for this bullshit
Copy. The Miata didn't get it till 2020 from the factory. There is a retrofit kit, which I'm looking at picking up.
It will bluetooth to my phone and play from that, but I like Waze better than the Mazda Nav system and that's pretty much my main reason for doing this.
