i bet i could narrow it down to 3 or 4 that it might be..

but that's cool info. i'm a percussionist at heart, beats are my thing. i mean, i don't make em, i just appreciate good ones, lol.
 
youtube shit is loading slow as hell today here at work...we basically have a freakin' ISP in house too so that makes it extra weird
 
He has a very dull voice. Good thing the content was interesting enough.

The Amen break is one of the first beats I learned to play on a drum set after a standard rock beat. I can't believe Coqui has never used it. Hard to get around in pop culture without coming across it somewhere.

I've heard it plenty of times, but I tend to be very music driven in how I play (i.e. the synchopations in the lyrics/notes tends to affect the bass drum for me)

1st song I ever played on the drum set was We Got the Beat by the Bangles.
