Infinite? Hardly. Nothing is infinite. If string theory holds true, then the string is the minimum element of the universe and thus does not exist in a 3 dimensional universe. If string theory is correct, then the finite, albeit unfathomable quantity of strings is the total number of faces on any object.

if you were to look at an edge at a molecular level, you would find that the edge is actually quite flat. in a 3 dimensional universe, nothing has a perfect sharp edge, thus each edge is actually a very narrow flat surface, qualifying it as a side.

And if you looked at a sub molecular level, you'd find the edge might not even be there if you aren't looking!

No. I got it for 20 bucks. I was looking for a heart rate monitor for when I started exercising again. This was inexpensive and looks like a regular watch.
