We run our robot almost every night forcing a cleanup right before bed. We put chairs on the table which means a couple times a week I wake up and mop first thing. Makes it super easy. I highly recommend.
what mop ya'll have? One of the things we've been trying to do over the years is reduce effort in cleaning. Robot vacuum, less stuff, easy to clean surfaces, good dishwasher, etc.

the step up to the 800 or newer series was really worth it for me for the rubber brush extractors. Much much more efficient with hair that the brush
Rental house with vinyl plank flooring, no pets, no kids. This was all the firepower we needed.

The O-Cedar EasyWring Spin Mop & Bucket is awesome. I kept buying those sponge mops or swiffer bullshit for years. I finally got this and it's great. You can throw the mop heads in the washer machine. The spin thing is great and quite sturdy. So much better than anything. My only complaint is that the handle is a tad bit short for me (6'4"). We have a mix of marble tile and hardwoods.

ive seen that one and almost bought it a bunch of times.

Yeah... mop handle length is a real problem :D im 6 feet and my wife is 5. Nothing works for both of us from mop handle lengths to furniture size. All our furniture is sized for midgets.

It should be perfect for you since it can get smaller. The missus is 5'11, so things aren't too bad for me around the house.

YAML indentation is driving me nuts. Every time i cut and paste a code snippet in the indentation isnt right in configuration.yaml and these are huge code snippets so theyre not easy to re-space

Are you using the internal file editor? And why in the fuck do you have huge code snippets?

FWIW, I was able to add it to sensors.yaml with Atom via SMB.

I hope you're donating to their cause you fucker.
Not yet, but i will. Ill likely contribute mostly to individual contributors. But ill drop a lump sum on HA themselves at some point too, its well worth it

Home Assistant looks cool. Not sure if I want to add another layer though. I'm running four Kasa switches, three kasa plugs, two home minis, one home, roku tcl tv, chromecast, chromecast audio, two nests and rplex/pihole server.

I'm working on a magic mirror using a pi zero.

While technically another layer, its essentially the *only* layer that you would interact with. Its intuitive, has a massive amount of integrations, and top notch automations.

Once you start using it, you'll realize that you can get data on all your deliveries from the various shipping companies and tons of other shit that you never knew you 'needed'.
