Too bad pipes almost never develop a small leak out in a length where some gimmick like that would fit. It's either at joints which are differing outside diameters or if it is a split from freezing it runs along the length of the pipe that gimmick ain't long enough to seal.

You're supposed to preserve the crimped ends on the shit you buy, not make new ones.
Yes, dummy, I know that.

I’ve got elbows and a tee that don’t have crimped ends. And the fan itself that doesn’t.

I think at some point I’m gonna have to crimp an end.

I’ll know once I get the hood hung.
