All clowning aside, This Old House is building a net zero home. They used 24" studs because less studs = more insulation. The level of insulation they did inside and outside was insane.

that 7 layer wall sandwich is nuts.

The 2 inch polyiso glued to advantech sheathing looks fantastic though. Love the advantech products.
