The happenings

I built my dad a PC this weekend. It's acting weird though. When I turn it on it fires up for one second, then shuts off, then fires up for one second, then shuts off. Over and over. I can't figure it the fuck out. Swapped out the power supplies (both brand new 550w, different manufacturers) but same result. Tried clearing the CMOS, same result. Reseated and thermal pasted the proc. chip, same result. wtf.

Try changing the RAM fluid.

Shattered Horizon sucks

Obvious lie.

PS - People are polarized on Shattered Horizon. You either love it or hate it, and it's determined entirely by whether or not your brain is capable of operating in a 4D environment.

PSS - There are also numerous people who play other standard 3D games no problem but get terrible motion sickness from SH.

That's one thing I didn't try yet. I'll give it a shot before I start to cry. I'm starting to wither beneath the weight of his disappointment. He simply wanted to add some new ram to his old comp to speed it up (it's like a 2002 POS), and I talked him into an entire new one. And now, $1,000 later, it doesn't work.

I bought the RAM separately, it has 4GB of DDR3 1600, which I'll probably double later this year.

Sup Kyle!

How about us sharing the same birthday! Pretty cool huh?

So tell me about your new computer? What parts did you get? CPU, GPU?
