I refuse to use my vote to put my country in the possible position of having Sarah Palin as our president. Period.

With McCain's heart issues, and age, the possibility of that occuring are higher than normal.

That's just one of my many reasons, but it is by and far the most terrifying.

Honestly, I think you're crazy for thinking that way. She's so clueless she may not do anything at all.

Which is what I hope for most in a politician.

We need people in office who only have erasers, just start deleting crap, the NAS is full already.

I also will never vote Obama. I don't agree with his policies, I don't agree with the government just stepping in and taking care of everyone, and I certainly don't want taxes raised.

And also, what's so wrong with having an active Christian in the presidency? Seriously, why does everyone automatically assume that just cause someone is religious they are a moron and are simply around to be laughed at? I read and ignore a lot of comments on this bored belittling people that actually believe in God and go to church regularly but seriously, it's like a slap in the face every time someone makes one of those comments and it's getting old. Just because she is a Christian doesn't mean she is going to make everyone else become one, but it's nice to have someone that actually stands up for what they believe in the spotlight for once.

We've already seen what 8 years of having a person in charge who doesn't know how to weild it responsibly have resulted in. I cannot in good conscience allow 4 more.

I don't want a clueless politician. I want the smartest mother fucker in the world who not afraid to make the hard choices, and is influential enough to get other people to make them too.

Straight up. Give me a country run by people like that, and I think I'll be alright. I may not like him, I may not like some of his decisions, or how he enforces them, but in the long run, I'll know the safety and security of not only myself, but the country, and our way of life, will be assured.

When did I say anything about her being christian?

In fact, Joe Biden is Roman Catholic. Yet, you still can't compare the two.

Then again, I also view RC's as being the sane christians.

But this country's way of life is NOT going to be assured by Obama and his ilk.

Safety is for suckers.

Did you not see who was pushing the bill from the Dems?

Barney Frank.

You don't get more liberal than that.

At least they haven't raised my taxes, I expect government of all types to screw things up, I just don't want to lose any more of MY money in the process.

and you base this on what? the bangup job gee dubya did? a kindergartner throwing darts could have made wiser foreign policy decisions

I base this on him being a socialist.

It's not like Georgie was 100% alone in every "bad" thing that has happened in the last 8 years, most of it would've gone down with either of the other two retards.

Um, the Republicans in the House were the majority of the ones that voted the original bill down and made them rethink it and they haven't taken it to the House to determine what they think of it now.

I'm far from rich, and it really freaking pisses me off when people claim that I am :p

Income, is NOT a measure of wealth.

Anyone that works for a living should pretty much never vote democrat.
maybe your income doesn't make you rich for your area, but tax policy is national. compared to nationwide medians and averages you are rich.

No it doesn't :waw:

I still wouldn't be rich in your neck of the woods.

I find it disgusting that you think it's fair that I'm taxed at a much higher percentage when it's not like I'm making anywhere CLOSE "find my buffalo money".

But hey, you've only worked hard and sacrificed and saved and invested to get what you have, it only makes sense you give most of it away to the people who don't have jobs and won't better their life in anyway and just sit around waiting for the government check to come in every month. We need people like you so we continue to have money for people like them.
