I've been working on distance more then speed lately getting ready for this half marathon so I was basically just out there to stretch my legs and get part of my weekend run in, I didn't really care about time. But it was a nice surprise.I need to find a race like that. In the land of the blind...
I'm down under 10 minute miles for my 5 miler in the morning. Today I left at 5:13 and got back at 6:01.
I also had to stop in the first mile to pick up the dog's poo. I bagged it, and went to leave it on the cinder block wall next to the sidewalk, so I could grab it on the way home, and the cinder block wall was hollow, and open at the top.
The bagged poo fell 6 feet down the inside of a hollow cinder block wall.
Have you ever tried using DMSO? That stuff will get rid of aches caused by inflammation in a matter of minutes.Felt awful about my run this morning, but came in right at 50 minutes. I walked for a good 1/8 of a mile, because my left knee was being dicky, but I guess I kicked ass for the rest of it.

anyhoo she has started me on a strict 12 day meal plan to reboot my metabolism and she kicked my ass today.
i have to drink 1 protein shake a day and it’s made me poop like a rockstar.. i’ll have to cross post in the pewp thread
