She was in a stroller. She started climbing out (she’s 2 1/2). Last time she did fine but tonight was a little chilly and she was tired.Maybe try a stroller for the baby next time instead of making it run?

It was only 60 and the sun had gone down. My ears got cold.As if your town gets "chilly".

I could never do couch to 5k when I tried. Shit killed me.My 14 year old decided she wants to start running so I’ve been roped into exercising. Wednesday we did 1.75 miles. Today we did 1.25 miles then the baby got super grumpy so we had to stop. We’re doing couch to 5k. The 11 year old is joining us (he’s my natural runner and can do a 7 min mile without trying). They are both in much better shape than I am.
I know different things work for different people but when I started running last year I set goals like running for a half hour without stopping regardless of distance or speed. Just don't stop. And I worked my way up from there.I could never do couch to 5k when I tried. Shit killed me.
What? It’s for our of shape people though. How bad off were you when you started?
Yeah, I know. It just didn't work for me.What? It’s for our of shape people though. How bad off were you when you started?
This is sorta what worked for me. I don't think I ever timed anything, but just trying to run (slowly) at my own pace.I know different things work for different people but when I started running last year I set goals like running for a half hour without stopping regardless of distance or speed. I started on a treadmill. I knew a 5k would probably take me between 30 and 40 minutes so I started at 30 minutes at 4.5 mph which was a slow jog for me. Started expanding the time until I got up to 40 minutes without stopping then worked on speed.Yeah, I know. It just didn't work for me.

30 flights of stairs up and down. 11 min 57 seconds. Standing BPM 136.
Goal is 20 minutes continuous.
One day at a time.
I keep it at the top of the staircase.Bring your inhaler, Nukes.
I'd like to do that - no tall building around here. I walk the industrial park behind work when the weather is better.23 flights of stairs up and down 10.3 min ending BPM 140.
I need to be able to triple this to convince myself I'm not dead.
Lol it's my home staircase. Certainly I'd get better health benefits from one straight up climb, but the ol up and down it is.I'd like to do that - no tall building around here. I walk the industrial park behind work when the weather is better.
Still, would suck to get to 2 stairs away and be likeLol it's my home staircase. Certainly I'd get better health benefits from one straight up climb, but the ol up and down it is.
