Ontopic The 3D printing thread

That much JB weld would cost about $8-$10.

I did it with < 100g of plastic, which cost less than $1.

Balancing lawnmower blades is very very important. That's nothing you want to cheap out on with some shitty Chinese plastic.

Hey I didn't start this shit.
I like this thread but generally don't chime in much as I don't really have much useful to add.

And JB Weld is made in America? I doubt it.

Package still says Made in USA.
I assume that means they get ship loads of chemical and prelabeled tubes from China and maybe squirt it in the tube here or whatever adds up to 51% to make it American.

So, uh, will balancing a lawnmower blade on crappy plastic throw off the balance? whut?

If balancing lawn mower blades is so damn important why are you guys advocating what amounts to a century old bubble balancer?

Computerized spin balancing is cheap and readily available technology.

It's alive! Well, kinda.

After spending a week fighting with the bootloader to port it to this card and get it running, I YOLO'ed my Marlin port on there to see if it would work... and it does!

Unfortunately it looks like I've got a bad X axis motor driver chip. And replacing it is a hot air rework job I gotta do at work :/
