This is pretty awesome.
IIRC, a benchy takes like 30m on my printer and it will seemingly now take about 15m.

CCTV Tapo C110/C100/TC60 dust and sunshield cover ( 2 versions)
Two slightly different designs here, one with and the other without rear speaker vent. Designed this to give my C110 some protection from the elements. I'm befuddled at how they get all the correct angles in there. But then again, I'm fukn dum.solidworks
It's worked perfect in my 5% humidity climate without dicking around with it at all. It's cool shit. It's a nylon/polycarbonate mix that's harder than straight nylon but just as tough, and it doesn't shrink as much and want to warp off the print bed which makes it easier to print. We use it for all kinds of odd jobs at work.
Like nylon, you really need a filament dryer or temperature oven. Because it absorbs moisture and prints like shit if you don't bake it.
Plus, I won't have to look for another 90 year old casting to break, and I can keep spares on-hand for when the new one fails. And yeah, it'll probably hold up a lot better than pot metal.
Holy shit its expensive. It's cool shit. It's a nylon/polycarbonate mix that's harder than straight nylon but just as tough, and it doesn't shrink as much and want to warp off the print bed which makes it easier to print. We use it for all kinds of odd jobs at work.
