Ontopic The 3D printing thread

Isn't there some website where someone can print them for me? I'll still pay you for all your time!

They're all over the place. We used to use Shapeways at the last job.

There is a company on 301 just north of the fairgrounds if you want to support local.

But, I did get it working again.

Alloy 910 is some amazing shit, I gotta say.

I did that up in Taulman 910. Seems to still be going strong.

:sigh:

I hate this part. Connector that came with the kit doesn't match the board so I've got to find a crimper and such.

Could hack the connector off the end of the old thermistor/fan/whatever you're hooking up, and splice the wiring.
I thought about it, and I still can... but I just really didn't feel like fiddling with that particular part of it at that time. I'll check campus tomorrow and plan accordingly

Well, looks like Creality made their own enclosure.

Anyone done a direct drive setup?
I keep eyeballing it, but I figure I should finish this BLTouch and E3D Nozzle upgrade

I thought about it, but there's no use case for me currently that would drive it.

I guess you need it for printing flexible stuff, like TPU, but I haven't ever done that before.
