I hear the termite comapnies are gonna take some of her pants and use them to tent houses...

The possibility of using them for tents never occurred to me. I have some friends who camp out, and would surely appreciate some free fabric. I wonder how hard it is to waterproof fabric, maybe just spray something on it?

Yep. They sell a spray to waterproof fabric. It's suppose to be for rewater proofing waterproof jackets after laundering them but it will work on some other fabrics.
