I heard Water for Elephant the movie sucked in comparison to the book. Although I'm never going to read the book or see the movie unless an Elephant pissing on Robert Pattinson is somehow involved.
If I'm watching the movie its because I was to lazy to read the book, so don't care how they compare.

I feel compelled to see the movie if I've read the book but it doesn't work the other way around for me most of the time.
