I am running out of dinner ideas. Since it's so damn hot in Maryland these days, I don't want to crank the stove or oven. We've been eating salads instead, but man I can't eat anymore of this rabbit food for another night. So, before @Domon ends up eating another bowl of cereal for dinner, do you guys have any dinner suggestions? What are ya'll eating tonight?

y'all need to spark up the grill. It's our salvation in this heat/humidity. Tonight: grilled bone-in, skin-on chicken thighs and corn.

Hit up a bulk store and buy all the shit you need to mix up some gee rub (http://uselessforums.com/threads/sober-is-sexy.14363/page-6#post-1197212) and some tre rub (http://uselessforums.com/threads/article-cooking-with-tre-2-0-ribs-on-a-smoker.13757/#post-982636) - throw that shit on chicken thighs, chicken wings, pork chops... whatever you got. Let it sit for half an hour, and grill.

Make some of this shit for grilling steaks. http://uselessforums.com/threads/3-jews-and-their-steak-spice.13610/

Also grilled salmon. Fuck buying those stupid cedar planks, go to home despot and buy a 6 foot cedar fence board, and cut it into chunks. Mix together maple syrup or honey, garlic, dijon mustard and a bit of salt/pepper/thyme. Cut a salmon fillet into 4-6 chunks, slather and grill.

It's not uncommon during summer for Australian families to prepare a dinner of cold meat (usually ham or chicken), with salad and fruit.

I put chicken in the crock pot and we had pulled chicken soft tacos for dinner. I have a tendency to do pasta in the summer too just because it's fast on the stove top and then I can use our baby crock pot for the sauce if it needs to be warm.
