It's a great race, your son will love it. I've been there a bunch of times. I lived about an hour from there when I was a boy and still travel back there a lot. When you go to the race give yourself A LOT of extra time to get into the race and expect a long wait when leaving. Don't make any difinitive plans within an hour or two of the race ending because you won't make them! LOL! The Michigan Speedway is literally in the middle of NOWHERE in the Irish Hills of Michigan. It is a two lane country road going into it and 2 lanes coming out no matter which way you go. They built this gigantic speedway in the middle of a corn field. It's like Woodstock. You will be driving past cornfields and cattle and pig farms and then suddeny come upon this gigantic race track in the middle of nowhere! lol!
