Not only can you mix impedance, but you can mix driver types. Because you see it's two separate amplifiers which is exactly what bi-amping is.

What I've never been unable to understand about the 7000 is whether it's a truly bridged amp in mono setting or if they're just using one of the 350 watt amplifiers inside. @HipHugHer

It's two separate 350 watt power amps and one preamp and one crossover. I weighed it once I think it was just under 32 lb it is extremely heavy for what it is.

Host Rings you are right about the two preamps. I forgot that they have a blended solid state and Tube preamp system. I'm not feeling well today.

I'm not seeing a mention of or a workaround to get full bridged power into a single output. With the crossover bypassed (set to "off") all the speaker outs become full range outs but it looks like they're still separated.

Means you'd need to plug one speaker into a "high" jack and one into a "low" jack to reach full output. Basically it'd be like having a 3500 powering each speaker.

You could make up a custom cable to bridge the two into a single plug, like to plug into a single large cab. Not sure if there's anything going on in the circuitry inside that would have a problem with that or not. Might be an expensive way to find out
