St Nicholas

Not the story I'd pick. There is almost no documented evidence about Nicholas of Myra except that he was the bishop of Myra.

I would've told ya'll about the Dutch holiday customs. One of the towns I used to live in was like 100% first gen Dutch and damn their version of Santa Claus is not politically correct. For example, his 'elves' are black midgets and and he doesnt leave coal for the bad kids, he puts them in his bag and takes them back to Spain.

BACK to Spain...hahaha

We used to leave our shoes by the door with a basket of carrots for St. Nick when I was a kid. We'd get candy canes, serinakakers, pfeffernusse, and an advent calendar for our troubles.

Ahhh.... pfeffernusse. My grandma loved those. We'd have them in the house every christmas.
