We talked about that yesterday actually. Not sure how well they do in zone 9 dead heat, so I'll have to research that.

My rosemary bush didn't survive the summer. That's how brutal it is here. :(
Whereas I have one that could act as a hedge, another I started as a cutting, and a third I started as a cutting off of the plant at my grandparent's place.

I don't think the heat is killing the rosemary...
 
I really like that store. Not for planting as much as the horse stuff. Very well priced stuff. & the western boots are quality stuff. not poser boots that fall apart between the stall and paddock.

Ariat. you won't regret it. & don't get the gay ones with the flat back heel. Get the real ones.

My parents left me with about 50 lbs of produce. I have cucumbers brining and just finished a bunch of diced tomatoes. I have to freeze them though cause I don't have a steamer canner yet. I now need to decide what to do with green beans and yellow squash. Bottling the green beans is out since they also brought me 50 pints of already done ones.
