The lulz. Other teams already shit themselves. Now this.
 
MLB is eliminating the 4 pitches from the intentional walk. The player just automatically takes first base.
I think its stupid. Make them throw the pitches. Anything can happen.

Incidentally, I like the way the Red Sox and Yankees intentionally walk each other when they play. They just hit ya with the pitch.

I think the breaking point was this past season with the Cubs and Nats series. Maddon kept walking Nats players I think Harper was walked every time. And the game was super long.

Yeah. Its one of their steps in the attempt to speed up the game. But by the nature of it, baseball is a slower paced game.
Well, whatever. Progress I guess.
