As if shoving that lard ass Kate Upton down our throats for years wasn't bad enough, now they have an actual fatty in their newest swimsuit issue.

Ashley Graham - size 12

Ashley Graham, a gorgeous plus-sized model with dark hair, is posing in a first of its kind ad in Sport's Illustrated's annual swimsuit issue.

The model, who says she loves her curves and 'isn't afraid to show them,' posted to social media sites earlier Thursday, "Secrets out!! So honored to be the face of #CurvesInBikinis.

She'll be wearing a black string bikini.

The ad is part of online retailer swimsuitsforall campaign with the tagline "You've Got It. Flaunt It." The bikinis from the Swim Sexy line range from sizes 10-34.

"I know my curves are sexy and I want everyone to know that theirs are too. This is no reason to hide and every reason to flaunt. The world is ready for more curves in bikinis," Graham said in a statement.

The beauty from Lincoln, Neb., was discovered in a mall and started modeling at age 12. She's been featured in Vogue, Glamour and is known for her work with Lane Bryant, according to her website.

Commenters on the swimsuitsforall Facebook page seemed overly supportive of the announcement.
Sherry Lane wrote, "Yeahh...A real woman's body...Thank you for not promoting stick-figure bodies." And Bobby Arnold posted, "That's a good looking woman."

The Sports Illustrated swimsuit issue comes out Feb. 9.

Ugh. This isn't about putting hot chicks on the cover anymore. It's now about expanding your readership to women who are insecure about their obesity. They're basically saying "look at this fat chick. She's a model, and you can be too! Come buy my magazine!"

Well.... there is a larger market for that than for skinny peeps. At least in America.

No. If that was the case the models would already look entirely different.

There may be 'more' but it's not a market.

After you see bbw mags with popeyes chicken ads outselling SI, THEN it's a larger market.
It's going that route...
