So when you think about your body modification (or maintenance if you're happy with where you are)

Do you care more about the weight you're at or want to be? Or do you care about the amount of fat you have or want to have?

For example, lots of girls have the 115-125 range for weight. But if you weighed 130 and had no extra fat on your body that you wouldn't want (we all know Ape wants about 25 more pounds of fat on her chest) would you be happy or would you still care about that weight?

Answer the question and why.

Personally, I'd rather care about the Body Fat. I've weighed 170 before and looked bigger (read: fatter) than I do now. I don't see the point to having a set weight because that fluctuates so easily and you can look skinnier even though you've put on 10 pounds.

I don't care about numbers at all, it's all about looks. If I wasn't so lazy I'd have killer abs and a butt, but alas, I'm lazy.

This. Although I do find when I am around 150 my knees start hurting more shuffling around that extra weight.

I only care about weight in the sense that the military uses the retarded BMI scale for height/weight standards and if you're over they use neck and waist size measurements to calculate body fat....

But these days I don't even care how much fat I have or how I look, all that matters to me is how well I perform. Once I'm satisfied with my PFT/CFT scores I'll concern myself with cutting fat.

Reasons why I shouldn't be drafted:
I have a history of asthma (last attack was at 11 years old)
My BMI puts me in morbidly obese.

(the first of these were enough to not accept me in to ROTC when I went to college)

yeah, asthma will do it

If they can see that you're built they make exceptions for BMI. HQ puts out the numbers but the people who make the decisions know better than to think a high BMI automatically means fat. Worst case there is accurate body fat calculation done by the medical personnel, but I still think it's dumb.

There's a health fair being done by an insurance company here at work. They will be taking BMI measurements. I want to get to my BF goal so when they tell me I'm morbidly obese, I can lift up my shirt and ask where.

Not that I know of. He doesn't look familiar to anyone on [M] I know.

He's an amazing gospel singer, though.
The guy that dated Hootbot. Been a long time since I've seen his pictures so I could be way off facially, but I thought they looked similiar.

How can he be a good singer without a chest for lung capacity? :p
