My wife was terrified of the possibility of needing a bag after her surgery. It was one of the first things she looked for when she woke up after.

Our anaesthetists told us for people who have to have a catheter after surgery while they're still under they have to have training on how to convince the patient they haven't been raped while on the operating table, apparently some people freak out about the odd sensation in their hoohaas and get convinced all the surgeons etc are rapists.
