anyone know any songs that have cool solos like Led Zeppelin's In The Evening or Radiohead's Creep where they incorporate chunky dissonant guitar noise into the solo? I love when bands do stuff like that in solos

There's a live recording of Love in Blindness by US that has an amazing clunky/noisy guitar solo. It's all around a great recording.

I have listened to one song today. I don't think it contains the type of solo you're after, but it's a solo all the same.

I compared them to Rush also, not many people agree with me on that for some odd reason. Actually makes me happy you said that, lol


Yeah, they have some amazing albums... I just load up the discog and let it go :)

Hey w_a_w, speaking of music and what not - it has been awhile since you've posted any covers your band has done. How's band going anyway? You guys were pretty damn good from what I heard last year.

we had a couple people leave, a couple we got rid of and then added back people to fill those spaces which took a while...then we had to get the band tight again...we recently finished a 3 song demo so we have something to give out to bars to get gigs with...it's being mixed and mastered right now...as soon as that's done I'll post them up...they came out astonishingly well for a bunch of chumps like us
