I was at the Santa Ana Courthouse a few weeks ago for jury duty, and as I was waiting in the cafeteria area I looked out the window to an open area that has the US and California State flags, it's like a wide open central area surrounded by government buildings... that was full of homeless tents. They've allowed them to set up camp on government property and accommodated them by altering a walking path for employees to walk around the encampment. It's really sad. It's a serious issue. Having partially grown up in L.A., I'm aware of all the Green space surrounding the city.
As a kid we used to recreate in Malibu Creek State Park. Huge! I've often wondered why people don't permanently camp in such places.
And now it's coming to fruition.

Santa Ana is primarily Hispanic. Over 50% of the city's population is Hispanic.Sounds like a bunch of white people complaining about those less fortunate.

If you're going to say "You're a white guy complaining about white people things"... I never said I was complaining. I merely stated a fact about a situation in our local community.
