Dont date in your office. Its bad news if you ever break up. Dateing in the company is good, people you work with directly? NO. Believe me its tempted me (im out her league anyways) but I wont do it.

Just watch what you eat and if you can't run walk or at least lift some weight. Eat the apple instead of the cookie and slow digesting carbs in the morning (to keep from raiseing blood sugar too high) and eat the proteins and fast carbs after working out and you will improve.

Well then in that case I guess I'm not in the gaming community. I just have sex, I don't make porn.

But yeah I for one do feel left out of the game community. I enjoy playing games, but I don't like to sit around and talk about them for hours on end. Part of the problem is that everyone I know is also a geek. So they are not only talking about the gameplay, they're also talking about the programming that went into the game, the inner workings of the consoles, etc. I don't care to get involved in a pissing contest over who knows the most about some game/system. Just give me a controller and let me play!

It isn't just a pissing match. At least, it isn't for me. It is akin to knowing that the inside of a rubiks cube is a sphere. It is a desire to know how things work.

Things get somewhat complicated because games are becoming "cool." I need only refer you to this to know how we feel about that. (It should be noted this is where theac got his costume idea that year.)

Are we talking about games you haven't played? Probably. But the same could be said for the standard inside jokes people have going here. They didn't stop me from entering the boards, though. So, just because you don't like talking about the games like we do doesn't mean you shouldn't play the ones you want to play.

In other words, if the community keeps you from playing games, then that is bad. But I have never seen or heard of that happening. So why do you feel left out?

Ahhh yes, The King of No Pants

Well the community has never kept me from playing games. However I think it has discouraged me from playing MORE games. It intimidates me from participating in convo's because stuff is over my head. Therefore I miss out on hearing about other games that would interest me, or learning how to play some (seemingly) more complex/harder games. Course some might say that is my own fault, not the gaming communitys.

Like most things, I would see that as a combination. At the heart of it, they are just games. So the amount of analysis that goes on in some of it is quite stupid. However, it shouldn't stop you from getting involved, either. I think the comic after the one I linked (possibly two after) goes into just that. :)
