I only really have 2 typical days.
There are days I'm working sales, and days I'm working my normal job.
Normal Job days are as follows.
- Wake up around 4:30am and head off to work. I ride a few horses, I'm often nursing a hangover and I finish around 11am.
- I have some lunch, sometimes take a quick nap and I'm good to go.
- I go ride my horse. I get his dinner ready and leave it out so they can feed him later.
- I go on my farm route. This basicaly envolves going to a handful of farms and getting on some horses at each one and finish around 5-6 pm.
- I eat some dinner, hang out with the few friends I have, go on IRC/The net, etc....
Then I have sale days, they are boring, but the money is good. I work a few sales a year and they last 2-3 weeks each.
- I wake up around 4am, head off to work.
- we work all morning do barn chores, then we get changed into our show clothes and people start coming to look at horses.
- we have lunch around noon and show until about 5pm.
- I go to the bar at work, the bosses always buy as a few rounds
- Then it's back to the hotel, change, shower and out for dinner and drinks.
- then go to bed around 11-12 and rest.
These are pretty much the only days I have. I had a few weeks off this fall in which I played on my computer, it was the most time I've ever had off in about 3 years. Other than that I rarely get a day off, let alone multiple. What's your typical day?
