Agreed. Some of the farm raised stuff is probably cleaner than stuff from the ocean. We go to a fish farm occasionally, do some fishing and picnicing, bring home cleaned trout for $4/lb, catfish for about $3.20. A bunch of sturdy women clean your trout before your eyes.

They're razing the Amazon to grow beef to send to us. Do you really know where your beef is coming from? Even "fresh" fish is generally frozen on the boat.

I buy from a butcher that directly sources their beef from local farmers. Same with poultry and pork.

Our cured meats and some times other stuff comes from The Spotted Trotter. We get beef and poultry from Oakhurst Market and The Chop Shop. We only eat meat one meal a day. So, that helps with the extra cost.
