Long term, solar and wind probably are better. But sustainable power generation with either are a LONG way off. We can have safe nuclear much closer to now.My argument is that we, as a country, as an economy, and as a scientific community, have decided that solar and wind energy are better alternatives, regardless of what some half-baked idiots on the internet say.
People in the nuclear industry discount new reactors for both safety and viability.
People in the economy won't insure something that has the potential to irreparably pollute the commons shared by millions of people.
People in the country won't share land with any sort of nuclear reactor, "unmeltdownable" or otherwise.
except for that sentence?"safe" and "nuclear" don't belong in the same sentence.
Are you familiar with the sun?"safe" and "nuclear" don't belong in the same sentence.
Go live within 5 miles of the sun and tell me how safe you feel. Are you familiar with the sun?
.Go live within 5 miles of the sun and tell me how safe you feel.
okGo live within 5 miles of the sun and tell me how safe you feel.
OMG STAY OFF THE LADDERSI heard if the earth was 10feet closer to the sun wed all burn to death
Mercury didn't exist until you stood up.goddamn tall people are risking the entire earth when they stand up
Mercury didn't exist until you stood up.
That wasn't it, but there is some big head joke in there...
