GAY So, I've been ATV shopping a bit recently

OK, here's the deal. I would like to get an ATV / Quad. I prefer a 500cc or larger Utility type like a Polaris Sportsman or Kawasaki Brute Force but I'll consider a sport type like a Kawasaki KFX 700 or Can Am Renegade. 2005 or newer.

I do not have a lot of cash....honestly, who does these days? But when I did have a lot of cash, I invested in things that have a good resale / trade value. Not intentionally...but it just worked out that way. So I'm on Craigslist to see if someone would like to work a trade for their ATV/ Quad.

Is this a deal for everyone? No. So I don't need the heckling or the flagging just because you, personally, don't agree with the idea of trading instead of purchasing. Craigslist is the place for this kind of deal so if you have objections, you should go lurk on and police the Autotrader site instead. However, if you are the type of person who likes to trade and own interesting things...this is the deal for you. With that said...

Items I have for trade for someone who is interested in making a deal:

" Personal protection / hunting equipment " - Smaller, close range variety, not the long distance stuff. ( approx. value - $1100+ )
" NC17 +++ Movies " - These movies cover all kinds of topics and come on DVD media with no boxes or artwork or anything like that. This is how I got them. Hundreds of hours covering all kinds of themes. Nothing illegal but definetely not Disney. ( approx. value - $3000+ )
" Comic Books / Action Figures / various Die Cast cars and other misc. toys and collectibles " - Mostly Batman and Punisher themed items but a bunch of other stuff as well. ( approx. value - $2000 and that's a serious lowball estimate )

So we're already at $6000+ so that should get me a pretty decent ATV / Quad. I have other items too but this is what I'm interested in trading off first.

Suzuki ? I have no idea what they have for big cc Utility ATV / Quads but if you got one, let me know.

Basically, if it's a sport quad, it needs to be a big bodied quad and not the smaller framed quads like predators / outlaws / raptors. I need something with size and weight.

We live 10 min from the open desert. We could easily use them every weekend just staying in the Phoenix area. The plan though, after we get one for each family member, is to explore the entire southwest on them.

Side by sides can be pretty fun. Plus they can carry your crap so you can go camping or whatever...

Something like a can am commander or a rhino can go almost anywhere an atv can go, the exceptions are usually width restrictions.

We drove Rhino's in AK briefly, total blast on logging roads and the beach.

I should trade the KTM for one...if only I could get a dmv plate for it.

UTVs are awesome, but are more expensive, bigger, and don't really offer a huge advantage over a regular ATV for the kinds of things we want to do.

I drool over the Polaris RZR series though.

It'll be probably 10 years before we'll need full-size ATVs for the kids, so we'll be ok with a trailer for two in the meantime. The little 50-90cc bikes that the kids will be learning on can all fit in the bed.

You can make them street legal here, just requires stuff like mirrors, blinkers, horn, and brake lights. Utvs might come worth most of that
