WTF So I just dick'd my butt

That's very common in the Amazon FBA community. The things you sell are the real secret sauce. Knowing what to acquire is what makes money. Actually sourcing them is pretty fucking easy.

I occasionally stumble upon something I cannot get on Amazon and think I should source it and sell it, and the I go back to doing my life, but some people actually do that thing and it works out for them. I can understand why you'd want to keep it a secret. The secret that is really getting to me is what this "family business" is.

Also, I am at a turning point with my business. I've recently been offered a contract and it will be more work than I can handle on my own. I am considering taking on an employee but the person I want to hire cannot do part time and without more work, I can't pay them full time. I'm conflicted about whether to take the contract and hire a random part time person or hope that more work falls in my lap quickly so I can hire who I really want. I could turn down the contract as well I guess. I could take the contract and hustle for a little on my own, but I am already massively overtasked in my life and I'm not sure I want to sacrifice more. I'm going to think on it for a few days I guess. Anyone been in a similar situation? How did you handle it?

As long as you're doing well, I'd prefer to work for myself.
