snap judgements

Hey you cant blame me for the spelling thing. You nearly ALWAYS misspell the most important adjective in you posts.

People cant be two faced when you assume the worst about them.

That's because I get so much enjoyment out of pushing grammer nazi buttons. :pandora:

People aren't all bad tho, there's some good to them too. I just don't put much faith in 'judgements' because they aren't always true. People are usually more complex than they appear. And anyone that isn't complex is superficial which is even more annoying to me. Just park them in front of a tv set where they belong and keep them away from me (and the voting booth)...oh and don't let them breed either. ktx. ;)

What's wrong with not being complex. I wear everything out in the open. That does not make me superficial or a one dimentional character, I can assure you.

I seriously doubt that you wear EVERYTHING out in the open. I'm sure there's more to you than meets the eye. If not than it doesn't necessarily mean your superficial... it just means your crazy. ;)

Does anyone else see the irony in this statement? What a superficial (non-complex) response! Keep them away from the voting booth and don't let them breed? Eugenics anyone?

In some of my more reflective moments, it has occured to me that there have been a number of times when I thought a problem and/or solution were very clear and simple to see, but this was only because I was not yet complex enough to comprehend the complexity of the issue. That may or may not apply to other people of course.

You just figured out what is wrong with the entire Democratic party! That is why adding layers of complexity is such an effective argument technique. Eventually people just give up.

You know, it is kind of annoying when I type out 10 paragraphs of stuff and screw up one word and you jump all over it. This is a forum, not an English class. Don't get me wrong. I think people should do their best to speak/type properly. However, I've never gotten a failing grade on any of my English papers for spelling one word wrong. Give us a break.

As far as the topic is concerned, I really try to give people a chance. I've learned that I can find something good or interesting in almost anyone and I like people so much that I'm willing to try.

i'm the same. i rarely am completely turned off by someone. people fascinate and stimulate me, and i absolutely am in love with them.

You misunderstand my intent then. I'm usually typing out my response while reading the post I'm replying to so they jump out at me. It's in jest which I think Pandora understands, everyone is getting their panties in a wad over it. Also, I frankly dont care how many English papers you've submitted.

Well, at least there's someone to balance out my lack of faith in people. :)

It was a short and simple response on my part. I don't default with complex responses online anymore because people don't take it seriously enough to merit the effort. Mostly tho I just don't have the time (or energy) for it. Very rarely are solutions ever simple or clear. If they were the problem would already be solved. In my brutally honest opinion tho... anyone that spends more time watching Jerry Springer instead of current events does not need to vote. They aren't capable of making an educated decision to better their own lives much less for society. I'd rather they just stay in front of the tv and out of the voting booth. Call me an elitist bitch fine whatever...but you don't improve on a society by following the standards of the lowest denominator. They would exchange our liberty for a socialist government that manages life for them. No thanks. This country was suppose to be a democratic republic for a reason. Course the 'well educated' aren't much better. Everyone always votes for what's best for them, not what is fair and just for all. *sigh*
