Thread Slow days at work

Didn't really tan in Tampa :( Got a bit of a tan last weekend though because it was hotter than Hawaii here, was awesome. :D

So?

You do realize it's 82 with a chance of afternoon rain 364 days out of the year in Hawaii right? Being hotter then them in the summer months isn't that hard.

82 *IS* hot for those of us that don't live within two miles of the surface of the sun like you folks.

Ghost says, "don't be hatin"

We actually spent 2 1/2 hours outside this morning in 90 or so degrees and non of us got sunburned (with no sunscreen on). Apparently the suns rays don't do much that close, it only causes problems after you get out a few more miles.

You are actually inside the protectosphere.

It's why old people move there.

heat has nothing to do with getting tan. I used to get a crispy burn snowboarding in April in CO.

Oh I know that, we burned much easier in Utah on a 50 degree day then we seem to here on a 110 degree day.

Ah, the protectosphere, It's good to finally know the scientific name for it.
