Dad keeps an eye out for when the turtles lay their eggs over the summer. He tries to put something over the nest when they finish so the armadillos don't dig them up. He saved only three nests, the armadillos got dozens of 'em.

He's been driving around this particular nest since mid-july. Noticed them hatching today. Shell is quarter sized
