Thats about 5-10 miles south of where I live now, about a mile or two east of where I used to live. I cannot imagine the traffice nightmare every Sunday, not to mention the riff raff and crap that a stadium would bring into the area. The city I live in now, just north of Blaine, is relatively rural for being a Suburb. There is no city sewer and water, 1 acre lot minimums, and limited commercial development. I fear if they build the stadium the city will be pushed into developing more crap.

FUCKERS.

On the bright side, your property value may actually go up.

But yeah, I'd be freakin' pissed too. You'd have to go miles out of your way to avoid that crap on the weekends

Property values are still going up here from the housing boom. Higher property values = higher taxes.

yeah living 10 miles from a stadium would be the suck of sucks

I'm gonna pee on every square foot of that site if they go ahead with it.

Ya know, it takes like 3 years to build a stadium.
Imagine the construction traffic.
You may as well buy a small helicopter or somthing to get around in.

Ah, yes. Gotta love that.

And even better, when your house value drops - the taxes do not.

Thats lame. How often do property values drop though?

My commute isn't the best as it stands now, 30-45 minutes depending on traffic. I'll get one of them James Bond Jet packs. I wonder what their weight capacity is.

Usually when a sports complex is built in the area

I think we're far enough away that they won't go down. Most of the homes in our area are pretty upscale, the kinds of places that execs and semi rich folk live in.

Well, the did in the late 80's pretty much everywhere.

In parts of southern NH, they've dropped in the last few months.

Everybody was just getting over their coke hangovers around then.

Then your values should go up. Some fucked up people actually like living close to stadiums.

Sports fans with too much money

How is it you live in this area?

Get a Hayabusa, if you go fast enough in the winter months (August-May) you may not have time to get frostbite.

Is that one of those pan things for cooking rice in?
