So how did she do with her first weekend?
She's doing very well. Things were a bit overwhelming for her on her first day home. She slept in her crate most of the day Saturday. On Sunday she ventured out more, following me around the house and inspected everything. But she spent most of the day sleeping in the kitchen floor while I painted. As of this morning we have not had a single accident in the house. She even went to the back door this morning to signal she had to go out!
She is an awesome dog!
I miss her terribly today.

That's great! She used up a lifetime of running already, I'm sure it'll take a couple months to sleep it off
