Sarah Palin Action Figures

The dems tax cause they feel the government should just take care of everybody. Yea for no personal responsibility!

We've been over this. Bush is Bush, republicans are republicans, you dont have a choice when voting except go with what everyone else wants and the trend in electing popular centrists instead of people with strong opinions is universal to american politics, not just republicans.

Democrats have their pet project money pits too. Two words: Universal Healthcare. Two more words: Slavery Reparations.

I was raised a republican but the party I most strongly relate to now is libertarian because I am big on personal freedoms and the scaling back of govt which are two of their primary tenets...unfortunately voting libertarian is like pissing into the wind so the lesser of the 2 remaining evils is democrat

Your post have more in common with what I read at the Daily Kos or Democratic Underground.

I would consider Zac & April Libertarian Left & Chicken Libertarian Right.

Oh hey, I didnt see this one.

Now libertarian according to webster means

1: an advocate of the doctrine of free will
2 a: a person who upholds the principles of individual liberty especially of thought and action

Of course everyone argues the dictionary point but The Stanford Encyclopedia of Philosophy also agrees with that definition.

Just quickly scanning some old posts here:

so NYC is hoping to ban trans fats in all restaurants. good for them. I hope the rest of the country follows suit. your thoughts?

I dont really see this as fitting a doctrine of free will and minimal government authority.

It would be patently false to say libertarian, it's a specific philosophy, not the I-didnt-really-want-to-be-a-commie-democrat party.

I'm not a fan of arming the populace so that somehow invalidates my ideals and makes me a communist? I'm not trying to take anyone's guns away and that line of thinking is preposterous.
