Finally got to watch this. Silly kids and their keeping me from my stories.
That was balls out amazing. Better by far than The Force Awakens. I cant wait to see it again.
So many cool references to a New Hope, such awesome sense of scale (the AT AT stomping through the forest), and just great action and likeable and unique characters all around.

This list I'm probably more in tune to agree with. Rogue One's real saving grace is the balls out awesome battle scene at the end.

in retrospect of The Force Awakens, i was disappointed most in the lack of space battles. Rogue one had those in spades.
yeah, outside of the giant star destroyer versus the escaping tie fighter (exciting stuff. riveting.), all the other battles in TFA were atmospheric.
On a side note.
Almost a billion dollars now. Someone at Disney is going to find a way to convince someone to make a sequel to Rogue One. The original characters will only be mentions, and the name is a 'historically significant' name taken on by a new group of rebels looking to stop a new death star from destroying more worlds in a riveting, ground breaking, variation of the same story told over and over and over again now.
The Holiday Special did introduce us to Boba Fett before he appeared in ESB. Bold move, Cotten, but I'll allow it.
