Ah, the Fred MacMurray filming style. Most of My Three Sons was filmed that way. Scenes from an entire season in a particular setting would be shot for every episode, requiring dozens of costume changes and was demanding for the actors because time was really thrown off. They film out of order all the time, but the actors said it was really hard.

I wouldn’t doubt if SL gave permission to be posthumously CGd into future films.
