Northern NY is like a lite version of the Wisconsin accent, nothing like LI/NYC

Actually living in both upstate NY and WI. There is a huge difference. There are 3 distinct upstate NY ones with the entire north country (Adirondack state park) sounding like Canada, you can learn all this watching car commercials at 2am broadcast from various parts of the state. It's amazing.
