Comcast came by the new place this morning to install internetz. They took way too damn long but once all was said and done I signed the paperwork and fired up Newsbin to test the speeds. I ordered the 8mb service which comes with this speedboost thing they have that throttles your bandwidth up to 20mb+ for the first 50 megs or so on certain files. This usually happens with Newsbin and I expected it to drop off after a minute....but it didn't.

I had to close the app when my hard drive filled up, moved some ISOs over to another hard drive and started it up again...STILL fast!

This'll probably go away very soon but at least I managed to grab a bunch of stuff three times faster than I normally would. My only limitation is hard drive space.
