GAY RELUBRICANTS Where are you now? lulz

this is an apples and oranges comparison. you're starting with a known and an unknown and trying to draw parallels. it doesn't work :p

Agnosticism is. Atheism requires can require just as much zeal. Being adamant that something doesn't exist is just as irrational as believing it exists without concrete evidence.

Otherwise, we'd still be thinking the world was flat.
THAT IS NOT ATHEISM

Then scientists that do research are also irrational.

It is irrational to think there will be a cure for AIDS.
It is irrational to think there's life on other planets.
It is irrational to think that a man can run 100 yards in 9.5 seconds.
It is irrational to think that gas will hit $5.00/gallon in the states.

How you think these compare to a belief in a god is well beyond me.

Plus all these things have evidence to prove they it could be plausible. The existence of God has no evidence whatsoever. Not even evidence to prove plausibility. Also, there is evidence to suggest there never was a God.

Believing in God is irrational in it's purest form.

Then scientists that do research are also irrational.

It is irrational to think there will be a cure for AIDS.
No, advances in medical science bring it closer every day.
It is irrational to think there's life on other planets.
No, given the number of potential planets, solar systems, galaxies and local groups in a universe that a few dozen billion light yeas across it's far more irrational to think that life is so rare it only developed here.
It is irrational to think that a man can run 100 yards in 9.5 seconds.
Considering it was done in 1906 it's not that irrational.
It is irrational to think that gas will hit $5.00/gallon in the states.
There's plenty of evidence suggesting it will.

there's rumor that fox might not renew him at the end of his current contract which is up in a year or maybe a little less

Well I don't see why they want him. He doesn't produce any content that goes along with their right wing ideology. These days he just rants about conspiracy after conspiracy.

Fox News managing editor: I lied on-air to smear Obama
http://www.dailykos.com/story/2011/...utm_campaign=Feed:+dailykos/index+(Daily+Kos)

Speaking in 2009 onboard a pricey Mediterranean cruise sponsored by a right-wing college, Fox Washington managing editor Bill Sammon described his attempts the previous year to link Obama to "socialism" as "mischievous speculation." Sammon, who is also a Fox News vice president, acknowledged that "privately" he had believed that the socialism allegation was "rather far-fetched."

"Last year, candidate Barack Obama stood on a sidewalk in Toledo, Ohio, and first let it slip to Joe the Plumber that he wanted to quote, 'spread the wealth around,' " said Sammon. "At that time, I have to admit, that I went on TV on Fox News and publicly engaged in what I guess was some rather mischievous speculation about whether Barack Obama really advocated socialism, a premise that privately I found rather far-fetched."

CNN Poll: Unfavorable view of tea party on the rise

Washington (CNN) - Nearly half of all Americans have an unfavorable view of the tea party movement, putting it in the same company as the Democratic and Republican parties, according to a new national poll.

A CNN/Opinion Research Corporation survey released Wednesday indicates that 32 percent of the public has a favorable view of the two year old anti-tax movement, which also calls for less government spending and a more limited role for the federal government in our lives. The 32 percent favorable rating is down five points from December.

Forty-seven percent of people questioned say they have an unfavorable view of the tea party, up four points from December and an increase of 21 points from January 2010. That 47 percent is virtually identical to the 48 percent unfavorable ratings for both the Democratic party and the Republican party in the same poll.

"This is the first time that a CNN poll has shown the tea party's unfavorable ratings as high as those of the two major parties," says CNN Polling Director Keating Holland. "It looks like the rise in the movement's unfavorable rating has come mostly among people who make less than $50,000."

The tea party movement's unfavorable rating rose 15 points since October among lower-income Americans, compared to only five points among those making more than $50,000. Roughly half of all American households have incomes under $50,000, and half make more than that.

"It's possible the drop among lower income Americans is a reaction to the tea party's push for large cuts in government programs that help lower-income Americans, although there are certainly other factors at work," adds Holland.

Quick question.

So, would it be an incorrect conclusion to say that we know various ancient cultures existed based on things we have found in writings, scrolls, and ruins? And those things we have found would be considered evidence of their existence?

Wouldn't those things be just as viable as the bible?
