also, 70s is probably my favorite decade in music. Plus a bit of the late 60s.

Well, 66-83 is the era of best music for me.
66 had Fresh Cream and Good Vibrations, then Van Halen went and fucked it all up in 1984 with 1984.

I don't really have a favorite era.

I really enjoyed the metal renaissance in the early '00s that came as a sort of backlash at NuMetal from the late '90s.
I really enjoyed the brief resurgence of swing and ska in the mid-90s.
I wasn't alive during the original "let's appropriate black music" era of the '60s and '70s, though I do enjoy a lot of the music.
I'm kind of omnivorous, except I'm not into mumble rap, bubblegum pop, or country (with some exceptions).

no doubt the 70s had some amazing music + influencers but for me the 80s = WAP
